Reclaim Your Smile with Dental Implants
A missing tooth can change everything, affecting how you eat, speak, and even how freely you share your smile. While it may feel discouraging, you don’t have to face it alone. With Holliday Dental, you’ll have a trusted team guiding you through a lasting solution. Dental implants are designed to look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
We’ve been caring for our friends and neighbours in Greenville for over 40 years, keeping their smiles whole, healthy, and pain-free; a dedication to genuine care we’d love to show you, too. If you’re ready to learn more, give our team a call at 864-233-8639 to start your next chapter.
The Freedom of Your Full Smile
- Built to Last: Both the implant post and your crown are strong, durable, and designed to withstand the daily forces of biting and chewing. With proper care, your new smile will be there for all the moments that matter.
- Look and Feel Natural: We focus on the details so you don’t have to. The shape, color, and size of your crown will fit seamlessly with your smile. In fact, you might forget it’s even there!
Eat and Speak with Confidence: The stability of an implant allows you to enjoy all your favorite foods again without worry and speak with the clarity and confidence you had before.
Your New Smile, Seamlessly Whole
Phase One: A Perfect Foundation
Before we create your new tooth, we need a new root to keep it in place. The first step is the precise placement of a small titanium post into the jawbone, which becomes the new foundation for your restoration. We work closely with a hand-selected group of surgical specialists who will place your dental implant(s) in the position we specify to give you the best results and make your complete smile a reality. Your new implant will take some time to heal, ranging between 3 and 9 months, depending on your physiology and general oral health. Though it might feel like a slow process, this is where osseointegration happens, the implant fusing with your bone for perfect stability. It’s exactly this process that makes a dental implant the gold standard for tooth replacement, giving you the freedom to smile, speak, and eat as if it’s always been a part of your smile.
Phase Two: Your Custom, In-House Restoration
Once your implant has healed, our team at Holliday Dental takes over to complete your smile. We use our advanced iTero digital scanner to take a 3D impression of the area, skipping the mess of traditional impressions. This detailed scan gives us the “digital blueprint” to design and craft a porcelain crown or bridge (the visible part of your tooth) that will attach directly to your implant(s), completing your smile and your implant procedure as a whole.
What to Expect in Our Care
- Your Initial Consultation: Everyone’s smile is unique, and yours is no exception. We’ll start with an in-depth conversation about the struggles you’ve been dealing with and your goals for your new smile. For bigger cases, we highly recommend our CARE exam to make sure we look at the big picture of your mouth before choosing where to place any dental implants, as they cannot be moved after placement.
- Coordinating Your Care: We will coordinate your visit with the specialist for the implant placement, making the process simple and straightforward and getting you started on the healing process.
- Crafting Your Crown(s) or Bridge(s): With your implant healed and steady, we’ll take a quick and comfortable digital scan and begin creating your permanent, custom-matched dental restoration.
Completing Your Smile: In your final visit, we will attach your new restoration to the implant, make any final adjustments, and you’ll walk out with a perfect fit and a smile you’ll love again.
